Anchor electronics, wholly owned by the Panasonic Group, launched its brand new Panasonic LED luminaries range, Neue Archi, keeping the Indian market in mind.
Eyeing aggressive expansion, Panasonic now extends its range of products from the trade and commercial LED luminaires portfolio to the hospitality, industrial and outdoor segments.
Acknowledging the policy changes made by the Indian government, Mr Dinesh Aggarwal, Joint Managing Director explains, “The Indian lighting industry is an INR 16,000 crore market and with the current regulatory landscape has created a robust demand for LED lighting. While the LED market is growing at 130% annually, we expect an overall growth of 115% in the lighting market. The industry is undergoing a huge transformation with support from the government and statutory bodies, with a wide basket of products for assorted spaces, to the sophisticated movement detecting lighting systems.”
The announcement comes at a time when Anchor intends to be among the top 3 lighting brands in India and aims to achieve 5% market share by 2018. The industrial luminaires boast advanced ingress protection (IP protection), high power factor and surge protection of 4KV that prevents luminaire failure in case of a voltage surge caused due to multiple reasons.
The range is equipped with state of the art thermal management technology, specially designed transparent thermoplastic diffuser, robust housing and high UV and corrosion resistance properties.
